Introduction
1.1
Features of the Low Pressure CO2 Fire Extinguishing
System
The
Low Pressure CO2 Fire Extinguishing System is designed
on the basis of the principle of high pressure CO2
fire extinguishing system and it has an advantage over the latter.
Compared with the high pressure CO2 fire extinguishing
system, the Low Pressure CO2 Fire Extinguishing System
has the following advantages:
(1)
Because of low temperature storage, the system is of low pressure,
big storage volume, high extinguishing efficiency and small occupation
space.
(2)
Being under low pressure, all its steel bottles, pipe net, valves
and nozzles do not need resistance to high pressure. So the low
pressure system is more economical than the high pressure one.
Especially for large system construction, the low pressure system
may save more than 30% of the investment of the high pressure
system. The larger the construction, the less the investment.
(3)
The low pressure system could not only be pre-timed for automatic
ejecting , but also be started or closed manually at any time
to control the ejection. This particular property makes it more
suitable for where frequent fire danger exists.
The
specially designed Low Pressure CO2 Fire Extinguishing
System is characterized by the following properties:
(1)The
evaporator of the refrigeration unit in the low pressure system
uses demountable design, which makes it easy for maintenance.
(2)
Both the master valve and the select valve in the system are patent
products invented by our company. They are reliable and convenient
for operation.

Application Scope
The
application scope is almost the same with the high pressure system.
The
extinguisher can be used for the follows:
(1) The gas fire, but the supply of gas can be cut off before
extinguishing.
(2) The fire on electric or electronic devices.
(3) The liquid fire, or the fire of some meltable solids as paraffin
or asphalt.
(4) The fire on solid surface, or the fire at deep position within
wooden products, cotton fabric, paper, etc.
