The
Extinguishing Agent
For
the purpose of ozone layer protection, our company is the first
in China to develop and manufacture the new type of automatic
fire extinguishing system. The extinguishing agent of the
system is a mixture of N2, Ar and CO2 in
a definite ratio.
The
agent is a natural clean gas with the following properties:
It will not pollute the protected object
It will not decompose the ozone layer (i.e. ODP is zero)
It will not put harmful effects on human body, animals or plants
It will not conduct electricity
It is colorless, smell-less, poisonless and harmless and is called
"purely natural green extinguishing product"
This
extinguishing agent is an ideal substitute for halon. The
mechanism of fire extinguishing is to reduce oxygen concentration
around fire below the lower limit where burning is impossible.
That is asphyxiating extinguishment, a physical extinguishing
method.
The
Structure of the System:
Metal-membrane
sealer of the bottle valve ensures an excellent air-tight seal
and makes permanent storage possible.
Multi-start
mode (e.g. electric start, pneumatic start, electric-manual start
and jury mechanical-manual start) makes absolutely reliable start
assured
Restriction
orifice lowers the pipe pressure and makes the pipes safe
Special
electric start device decreases the start current to a lower level,
which has resulted in a great reduction in power for the control
unit and in volume of the batter and has made the system more
compact
Application
Scope
The
Mixing Gas Fire Extinguishing System is a full-submerging system.
It can be divided into independent unit system and combined distribution
system. Its application scope and exceptional cases are
almost the same as CO2 system and halon system.
It can be used for A type surface fire, B type fire, C type fire
and fire of electric equipment. But it should not be used
for the fire of chemical products with oxidants and the fire of
active metal or metal hybrid.
